“DISCOVERING MEMBERSHIP” is TODAY from 2-5pm. Among other things, we talk about why we exist as a church (our purpose), how we fulfill our purpose (our strategy) and when and where we fulfill our purpose (what membership means). Talk to Pastor Kenny or write membership on the back of the welcome card if you are interested in attending.

LIVING WATERS MINISTRY UPDATE!!! – Do you need a helping hand or know of someone who needs assistance? CEBC’s new Living Waters for Others ministry can provide the following first tier support: Respite/resources for caregivers • Visitation with shut-ins/hospice • Emergency food/funds. If you have or know of a need or if you can contribute your time or support, please contact the church office at 619-276-1922.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS for Summerfest!! Join us for a fun filled day of activities, July 27th and a special speaker on the July 28th. 

VACATIONS -  If you know some of our folks who are gone on vacation, pray for them to have safety, a great family time, a time of rest and rejuvenation and to be a light for Jesus along their way.  If you are leaving for vacation, let us know when you’ll be gone, as well as any prayer requests, so we can have our prayer team pray for your time away. 

KNIT TOGETHER - Creating projects for Silent Voices and Spectrum Ministries and other organizations. They meet the third Saturday of each month in Class #4, from 1:00-3:00pm. Contact Deni Menegus 858-273-1944 to learn more.

PRAYER AND ENCOURAGEMENT – There are a number of our folks right now who are sick or home bound. Will you pick someone to especially pray for again this week and will you call them or drop them a note to let them know you love them and are praying for them.
